Since 1990, John G. Mabrey has helped hundreds of people and secured millions of dollars in compensation for his clients. John is highly respected in the Georgia legal community and is known for being honest, tenacious and a true victims’ advocate.
In 2005, John was designated a “Rising Star” in Atlanta magazine, which showcases Georgia’s top attorneys who are chosen by their peers and through the independent research of Law and Politics. The next year, John was designated a Georgia Super lawyer by Atlanta magazine. John was selected by Jezebel magazine as one of Atlanta’s top attorneys and was featured in the November 2005 issue’s Attorneys of Distinction series.
John has spoken at Continuing Legal Education (CLE) seminars for Georgia attorneys. John has also appeared as a guest speaker on several television and radio programs to discuss medical malpractice and nursing home abuse issues. John has served as a Vice President of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association and co-chair of the Civil Justice PAC.
John is a member of the Georgia State Bar and is admitted to practice in all trial and appellate courts in Georgia, the United States Supreme Court, Eleventh Circuit United States Court of Appeals, and United States District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia.

Carla Register Mabrey devotes her practice to the representation of plaintiffs in medical malpractice, nursing home abuse and fraud, and other catastrophic injury/death actions. Carla has lectured at Continuing Legal Education (CLE) seminars for Georgia attorneys on the topic of nursing home abuse and fraud.
Carla is a Champion Member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association and has served on its Legislative Committee. Carla has also served on the Board of Directors for the Civil Justice PAC, Inc., the Executive Board for the General Practice and Trial Section of the State Bar of Georgia, and the Board of Directors for the Atlanta Council of Younger Lawyers. In addition to her involvement with the State Bar and Atlanta Bar Association, Carla is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the American Bar Association.
Carla is a 1993 graduate from the University of Georgia School of Law where she was member of the Moot Court Board, Intrastate Team (1991 - 1992), Russell Competition Top Four Finalist (1991), and recipient of the Ossabaw Environmental Law Award (1993).
